Job Summary
We are seeking an Alternative Investments Analyst to join our Lisbon-based team and support the expansion of our alternatives platform for wealth clients, developed in partnership with Allianz. The role spans product and investment management for fund-of-funds strategies, distribution support, and investor relations. The successful candidate will help drive the launch and growth of new evergreen funds and other private market solutions, while also contributing to day-to-day portfolio oversight and operational coordination. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-scaling platform at the intersection of wealth management and alternatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support product and investment management of alternative fund-of-funds strategies for wealth clients, including helping to launch and scale new solutions in partnership with Allianz.
- Prepare and maintain high-quality investor materials (fund decks, factsheets, DDQs) to support fundraising and ongoing client engagement.
- Contribute to distribution efforts by liaising with advisor teams, third-party platforms, and strategic partners to facilitate onboarding and expand market reach.
- Assist senior portfolio managers with fund monitoring, manager due diligence, and performance analysis, including materials for Investment Committees and Boards.
- Enhance reporting and client communication processes, identifying improvements in workflows, data accuracy, and the digital investor platform.
- Provide operational support by coordinating with administrators, custodians, and platform operators on subscriptions, redemptions, share-class monitoring, and related processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CFA qualification is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience, ideally within alternative investments, fund management, distribution support, or fund operations.
- Familiarity with private markets strategies (private debt, hedge funds, private equity) and interest in wealth-focused investment solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage complex fund structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize technical content into clear, investor-ready materials.
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable to working across functions (investment, operations, compliance, distribution).
