About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Kotlin Engineer to join our dynamic team, contributing to a project that revolutionizes security for businesses. This project provides a vulnerability management platform designed to help companies identify, prioritize, and address security risks in their applications. Seamlessly integrated with various scanners and cloud environments, the platform offers features such as contextual visualization of vulnerabilities, orchestration of security tasks, and comprehensive reporting to enhance the DevSecOps process. It is tailored to support developers and CISOs in securing the software development lifecycle.

Team Structure:

2 Backend Engineers, 1 Frontend Engineer

You’ll work with the following stack:

Kotlin, Spring Framework, PostgreSQL, AWS.

Schedule:

Flexible, with occasional required meetings. 

As a qualified expert, You will:

• Architect and develop clean, well-designed applications with solid technical foundations.
• Participate in design and code reviews, debugging, and modifying source code.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with a distributed team of developers, testers, and UX designers.
• Write optimized, high-performance code that scales.

We’re looking for you if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in Java and Kotlin development.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Experience with AWS Cloud (building CI/CD infrastructure, ECS deployments).
• Proficiency in server-side programming, microservices, cloud applications, messaging systems, and asynchronous processing.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Data), JPA, Hibernate, REST, OAuth2.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• English — upper-intermediate (B2 and above), Ukrainian — fluent (both spoken and written).
