About This Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Junior Analyst to support the daily operations and maintenance of our enterprise DLP solution. This role is critical in safeguarding sensitive data from both malicious and accidental exposure by monitoring, detecting, and responding to potential data loss incidents. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security Analysts, Engineers, Architects, and internal stakeholders to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data across its lifecycle.

What you will do

  • Monitor, analyse, and manage DLP alerts to prevent unauthorised data exposure
  • Administer and maintain the DLP environments, ensuring optimal performance and compliance
  • Conduct first and second-level analysis and investigations of potential data loss incidents
  • Perform DLP assessments based on severity and established procedures within agreed SLAs
  • Identify risks and suspicious behaviours to enhance data protection strategies
  • Enforce DLP security policies and conduct systematic event analysis to protect networks, systems, and applications
  • Collaborate with investigation and crisis management teams to address and resolve data loss vulnerabilities
  • Liaise with vendors for DLP technology support, including troubleshooting and upgrades
  • Contribute to the strategic design of security solutions that align with business requirements
  • Drive service improvements through automation, standardisation, and process optimisation
  • Explore and apply generative AI technologies to enhance development workflows and user experiences


Who you are

  • A motivated individual with a keen interest in cybersecurity and data protection
  • Experienced in monitoring and analysing security alerts, preferably within a DLP environment
  • Familiar with data security principles and incident response processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communicator, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Proactive in identifying risks and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on service excellence
