Game Artist

**please note this is an on-site role with a company in Dubai and would require relocating to Dubai**

About the Role

We’re looking for 2x talented Game Artists with strong Spine2D skills to join a growing team in Dubai. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and product teams to bring slot and casual casino games to life through engaging, high-quality animation and visual design.

This is a hands-on creative role where you’ll help shape the visual identity and motion feel of our games from concept to final polish.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D character and object animations using Spine2D, ensuring smooth and visually appealing motion.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate storyboards and static assets into dynamic in-game animations.
• Design and illustrate game symbols, backgrounds, UI elements, and effects aligned with the game’s art direction.
• Optimise assets and animations for mobile performance and Unity/HTML5 integration.
• Work with developers to implement and test animations in-engine.
• Contribute to establishing and maintaining a consistent art style and animation pipeline across multiple titles.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Game Artist or Animator in mobile, casual, or iGaming projects.
• Proven experience creating Spine2D animations (portfolio required).
• Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator or equivalent 2D art tools.
• Understanding of animation principles, timing, and easing.
• Experience working with Unity or other game engines is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Bonus Points

• Experience with slot game art, UI animation, or particle effects.
• Familiarity with export pipelines to Unity or WebGL.
• Interest in iGaming design trends and player engagement techniques.
• Prior experience working in an international team or cross-functional production environment.
