We are seeking a hands-on Data & BI Analyst to own the data pipeline from our ERPs into a governed DWH, model the data for analytics, and deliver executive-grade Power BI dashboards. You will work primarily on Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse / Data Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines) with strong SQL and data modeling skills, and provide on-demand Excel extracts when needed. The ideal candidate has prior project experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions (data ingestion → modeling → visualization → rollout).
Key Responsibilities- Data ingestion & DWH: Build/maintain ELT pipelines from ERPs (e.g., SAP / Microsoft Dynamics / Logo) into Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/DWH).
- Data modeling: Design robust star schemas (facts/dimensions), semantic models, and DAX measures aligned to FP&A definitions (Revenue, OPEX/CAPEX, Cost Centers, BvA, Cash Flow).
- Power BI development: Deliver scalable, well-documented reports and executive dashboards; optimize performance (model size, aggregations, incremental refresh).
- Data quality & governance: Implement validation rules, reconciliation checks to source, lineage & documentation; enforce KPI definitions and security/row-level security.
- Automation & scheduling: Orchestrate refreshes with Fabric Pipelines / Dataflows Gen2; monitor failures and SLAs.
- Stakeholder enablement: Partner with FP&A, Site Finance, Operations; collect requirements, run UAT, create how-to guides and training.
- Ad-hoc analytics & Excel support: Provide curated Excel extracts and self-serve datasets where appropriate.
- Project delivery: Manage BI work items (backlog, milestones, releases), track issues, and communicate progress.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IE/CE/SE), Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or similar.
- 3–5+ years in Data/BI roles delivering end-to-end analytics projects.
- Strong SQL and data modeling (star schema, dimensions/facts, surrogate keys, slowly changing dimensions).
- Solid Power BI (Power Query, DAX, model optimization) and Microsoft Fabric experience (Lakehouse/DWH, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines).
- Experience integrating data from ERPs (SAP, Dynamics, Logo or similar).
- Proven track record in data quality, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Fluent English (written & spoken); strong communication with finance stakeholders.
- Experience in FP&A analytics (BvA, forecasting, cost & unit-cost KPIs, cash-flow analytics).
- Knowledge of Git/version control, Dev/Test/Prod promotion, and release management.
- Performance tuning (DirectQuery/Import/Composite models, aggregations, partitioning).
- Exposure to Power BI governance (RLS/OLS, workspace/app lifecycle, deployment pipelines).
- Familiarity with Python for data tasks and REST/ODBC connectivity.
- Sector experience in mining, energy, or industrial environments; French is a plus.
