Senior Project Manager - Investment Banking Solutions

• We are seeking a high-performing, experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale, business-critical technology programs across both investment and enterprise domains.
• The successful candidate will drive the implementation of high-impact platforms, including core investment systems and corporate systems within a high-stakes institutional environment.
• The role requires a delivery-focused mindset, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to execute with discipline across complex initiatives.

Job Overview:

• Own and lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple concurrent programs-planning, execution, governance, and post-implementation.
• Manage full-cycle implementations of both build and buy solutions across investment management and enterprise domains.
• Develop clear project plans and manage scope, risks, dependencies, and resources within time and budget constraints.
• Lead RFP processes, vendor onboarding, contract negotiations, and solution delivery across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Engage senior business stakeholders to align project outcomes with strategic objectives.
• Identify critical escalation points and manage upward communication effectively without over-dependency.
• Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to drive structured yet adaptive delivery.
• Ensure robust reporting, RAID tracking, and milestone management using tools like Planview, Azure DevOps, Jira.
• Uphold high standards in project governance, risk management, and regulatory alignment.
• Carry out other similar or related duties as assigned by Line Manager.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Agile certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or SAFe).
• Additional certifications in financial systems or investment operations (e.g., CFA Level 1+, CAIA) are advantageous.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in IT project/program management, with demonstrable success in the asset management or buyside domain.
• Deep expertise in managing implementations of enterprise investment platforms and corporate/enterprise platforms.
• Proven track record of handling budgets, scope governance, and change control on complex, high-visibility programs.
• Technical background in business analysis, development or system configuration, prior to moving into project management.

Technical Expertise / Skills / Knowledge:

• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills - able to hold the room with C-levels and technical teams alike.
• Balanced delivery style: calm under pressure, yet assertive when delivery discipline is at risk.
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience delivering projects using Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies; able to tailor approach based on project context.
• Fluent with project delivery tooling such as Planview, Jira, Azure DevOps, and adept in producing structured executive reporting.
• Strong project financial acumen, with the ability to manage complex budgets and resourcing across concurrent initiatives.
