We’re Hiring: Senior Network Engineer – Projects (1-Year Contract)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Client: Leading Financial Institution

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable)

We are supporting one of our prestigious clients in the banking sector to hire a Senior Network Engineer (Projects). The role requires a highly technical, hands-on professional with strong command over enterprise networking technologies, cloud networking, and modern infrastructure transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage hybrid enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, and branches.
• Deliver network solutions involving routing (BGP, OSPF), switching, ACI, SD-WAN, wireless, and network security.
• Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting, optimization, and migration of complex networks.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure service delivery in line with defined SLAs.
• Maintain compliance with the organization’s information security and audit frameworks.
• Technical Requirements:
• Strong hands-on expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) — must be able to explain, configure, and troubleshoot.
• Advanced switching knowledge – VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, and Layer 3 switching.
• Solid understanding and working experience in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) – both theory and implementation.
• Experience with cloud networking (Azure / AWS / hybrid connectivity) – must be comfortable designing and supporting integrations.
• Proven wireless networking skills – Aruba and Cisco Access Points provisioning, controller setup, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of SDN / SD-Access / SD-WAN technologies.
• Familiar with network automation tools (Python, Ansible) and monitoring solutions (SolarWinds, PRTG).
• CCIE (Enterprise or Data Center) mandatory; Cloud certification (Azure/AWS) preferred.

Professional Experience & Skills:

• 10–15 years in enterprise-level IT network infrastructure.
• Deep troubleshooting and analytical capability.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Vendor and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and project management methodologies.
