As a Backend Development Intern for Winter 2026 (January to April), you will join our engineering team and take part in the full development lifecycle, from design discussions to deployment. You will help build the core systems that power our platform and shape the developer experience across our stack. Traditionally we've hosted this role onsite in our Montreal office, but we're open to hybrid or remote candidates with strong technical foundations.

As a Backend Development Intern for Winter 2026 (January to April), you will join our engineering team and take part in the full development lifecycle, from design discussions to deployment. You will help build the core systems that power our platform and shape the developer experience across our stack. What You’ll Bring
- A solid understanding of software fundamentals and backend concepts
- Interest in working with technologies such as Go, ArangoDB, and RedPanda
- Experience with API development and integration
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and the software development lifecycle
- Comfort with open-source libraries and complex data structures
- Bonus if you have used Docker, Cypress, or Playwright
