Compensation Package
Competitive Salary: At EcoEquity, we believe in building a strong foundation with the right people. This role begins under an Independent Contractor Agreement, allowing you to contribute on a flexible, part-time or full-time basis without needing to leave your current job. Compensation is accrued from day one and will be paid in full once funding is secured. Upon successful funding, there will be an opportunity to transition into full-time employment, complete with a competitive salary, benefits (including healthcare and 401k), and long-term career growth.
Performance-Based Bonuses: Certain positions may be eligible for performance-based bonuses, designed to reward exceptional contributions and achievement of key milestones that drive the company's success.

The Role
We’re looking for a Director of Operations who can serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and take ownership of the company’s day-to-day operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to fast-moving environments, and is comfortable making decisions that shape the trajectory of the company.
You’ll oversee operations across business functions, help define and execute strategic priorities, and ensure the company runs efficiently as we begin to scale. This person will be deeply involved in both strategic direction and tactical execution, balancing short-term needs with long-term growth.
This is not a traditional operations role. It’s an execution architecture role — ideal for someone who thrives on complexity, demands precision, and believes operational excellence is a competitive advantage.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re a systems builder who loves structure but moves fast. You can take a multi-market organisation and bring rhythm to it without adding bureaucracy.
You’ve likely been in a high-growth climate-tech, fintech, or Web3 environment, scaling teams through rapid change. You understand legal workflows, compliance, and data-driven execution, but your real skill is turning moving parts into a predictable machine.
You see the founder’s chaos as a design problem to solve — not a crisis to survive. You are direct, low-ego, and deeply operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Design, implement, and refine systems and processes that support efficient day-to-day operations.
- Strategic Execution: Translate high-level company goals into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a growing cross-functional team; foster collaboration and accountability across time zones.
- Founder Partnership: Act as a right hand to the Founder, owning key initiatives, managing priorities, and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with product, engineering, partnerships, and marketing to keep teams aligned and focused.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with external partners, investors, and community members in the Web3 and climate ecosystems.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure the organization meets operational, financial, and regulatory standards as we scale globally.
- Culture & Communication: Help maintain an open, transparent, and supportive company culture, promoting clarity and trust.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years in operations or strategy at a startup between Seed and Series A, ideally in climate, fintech, or blockchain sectors.
- Proven ability to implement and scale operational systems across multiple departments.
- Solid understanding of compliance and contract management in multi-jurisdictional contexts.
- Strong analytical mindset — you think in dashboards, not decks.
- Exceptional written clarity and communication — you can summarise complex updates into one clean paragraph.
- Calm under pressure, direct in feedback, and relentless about continuous improvement.
What Success Looks Like
30 Days:
- Full audit of operational workflows; identify and remove immediate inefficiencies.
- Deliver the first “EcoEquity Operating System v1.0” document — clear roles, workflows, and KPIs.
90 Days:
- Launch unified weekly metrics loop and dashboard across all teams.
- Finalise legal function transition and introduce systemised contract management.
- Automate introducer tracking and sales reporting.
6 Months:
- EcoEquity operates smoothly without daily founder intervention.
- Each function reports with clarity and measurable KPIs.
- You are effectively acting as the company’s operational backbone — enabling speed without sacrificing control.
