Role Description

The Software Development Intern will collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and maintain software applications. The role involves hands-on coding, problem-solving, and contributing to real-world projects that enhance user experience and technical performance. The intern will gain exposure to full-stack development, agile workflows, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, product) to deliver high-quality releases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the team’s coding standards.
• Debug, document, and resolve technical issues.
• Support integration of APIs, databases, and third-party tools as required.
• Contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Research emerging technologies and propose ideas for product or process improvement.

Technical Skills

• Basic proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or other modern programming languages.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) or back-end technologies (Node.js, Express, Django, etc.).
• Understanding of REST APIs, Git/GitHub, and database fundamentals (SQL or NoSQL).
• Exposure to agile development and CI/CD tools is a plus.
