About the Role:
Are you a skilled Golang Developer looking to join a dynamic team in a hybrid work environment? We're seeking a developer passionate about building cutting-edge solutions using modern technologies. Position: Golang Developer
Location: Burgess Hill, UK – Hybrid (3 days per week)
Job Type: Fixed term employment (FTE), 1 Year

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and Microservices using Golang.
- Collaborate in an Agile (Scrum) environment, delivering high-quality code.
- Integrate with Kafka and work with SQL databases.
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Collaborate using GIT for version control and participate in code reviews.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Golang.
- Experience with REST API and Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and SQL databases.
- Knowledge of GIT for version control.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, Couchbase, or Cassandra.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
- Understanding of software engineering methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, TDD, BDD, and Waterfall.
- Strong testing background, including unit, component, functional, system integration, and regression testing.
Bonus:
- Knowledge of the payments industry.
- Exposure to distributed systems and a variety of programming languages.
- Experience with payments technologies and frameworks.
