The Walmart Emerging-Tech group is a group charted to drive the creation of the next generation retail and shopping experiences for both online and in-store. The group leads Walmart’s efforts in the areas of Emerging Content, XR, Conversational AI, Voice Assistants, and more. As the Emerging Content team, we are building completely new capabilities to allow our customers discover and interact with products online. In addition to the end-user experiences the group also builds platform APIs and tools to enable other teams leverage next-generation content.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

What you'll do:
- Analyze and classify requirements to align business objectives with technical solutions, ensuring comprehensive scoping and estimation.
- Design scalable, maintainable software components by applying architecture principles and evaluating trade-offs based on business needs.
- Develop and configure code adhering to standards, incorporating security policies and automation scripts to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Create and execute test cases to validate functionality, identify defects, and perform root cause analysis for quality assurance.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet evolving business and technical requirements.
- 6+ years experience
- Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and cloud applications.
- Strong knowledge of solution design, including software architecture, scalability, and design patterns.
- Expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation scripting, and running systems at-scale in the Cloud.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Ability to analyze and classify requirements, including functional and non-functional aspects.
- Skilled in testing methodologies, defect management, and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Experience with security standards and telemetry implementation in software components.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and stakeholders.
