Job Overview:

Lowe's is seeking a Part-Time Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating a variety of projects related to our retail operations, marketing campaigns, and customer experience initiatives. This position offers flexible hours with a focus on project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead project planning and development, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans that outline tasks, timelines, milestones, and resources needed.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, product, IT, and customer service) to ensure alignment on project goals and progress. Communicate project updates to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely decision-making.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Assist in managing project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that costs remain within scope. Proactively address potential delays or budget overruns.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks or roadblocks that could affect project timelines or deliverables, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports on project status, timelines, and any changes in scope or objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements based on project experiences to drive efficiency in future initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing projects, preferably in a retail or similar environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Skills:
  • Strong project management skills, with a solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to use project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project, etc.).
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
