The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with business leaders, IT stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to oversee and deliver technology projects aligned with business objectives. This role involves managing project timelines, scope, resources, risks, and communication while ensuring successful implementation of enterprise applications, systems, or platforms with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leaders, architects, and technical teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Plan, manage, and execute IT projects across the full lifecycle—from initiation and requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support.
- Identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, requirements, schedules, and resource estimates.
- Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure projects follow organizational standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
- Support process improvement and project governance across the IT organization.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party deliverables when applicable.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience managing IT or software development projects, with hands-on experience working within SDLC, Agile, or hybrid project environments.
Technical/Project Skills:
- Experience managing software, infrastructure, or cloud-related projects
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Asana, etc.)
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and project plans
- Experience working with cross-functional IT teams (developers, QA, security, DevOps, etc.)
- Understanding of basic IT concepts: APIs, cloud, data, integrations, environments, releases
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, CSM, PMI-ACP, etc.)
- Experience delivering enterprise-level applications or platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
