Requirements
Mission:
We are looking for a Frontend / Growth Engineer who will lead the development of Sleek's customer-facing digital experiences and growth-driven microsites.
This role blends frontend engineering, performance optimization, and marketing automation - ensuring that Sleek's web properties are fast, discoverable, analytics-integrated, and optimized for conversion.
You'll work closely with Product Design, Growth, and Marketing teams to build SEO-ready, CMS-integrated, and data-informed user interfaces that scale globally.
Outcomes:
Launch High-Performance Frontend Experiences
- Deliver Sleek's MTD landing page and web app frontend, ensuring performance scores above 90 on Lighthouse (Core Web Vitals compliant)
- Develop responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect UIs in React / Next.js / TailwindCSS aligned with Sleek's design system
- Reduce initial page load time and optimize for SEO to improve discovery and user conversion
- Develop a microsite framework for future product verticals with reusable layouts and modular content components
- Implement schema markup, meta optimization, and structured data to strengthen search visibility
- Enable the Growth team to launch microsites independently without dev dependencies
- Connect a headless CMS (Sanity / Contentful / Strapi) to Sleek's marketing sites
- Empower non-technical teams to update content, landing pages, and campaigns autonomously
- Establish versioning, preview workflows, and rollbacks for content changes
- Deploy and configure Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Mixpanel for complete event tracking
- Implement A/B testing (Optimizely / VWO) to experiment with messaging, layout, and funnel optimizations
- Deliver actionable analytics dashboards and ensure event accuracy across web properties
- Automation Stack - Webhooks

- Create and launch a secondary marketing site targeting Sleek's next business vertical (aligned with the new marketing initiative)
- Ensure brand consistency, SEO optimization, and analytics instrumentation
- Achieve measurable conversion metrics tied to campaign performance
- 4-6 years experience as a Front-End Engineer
- 1-2 years in Marketing or Growth engineering
- 4 plus years of experience in React
- 4 plus years of experience in Next.js
- 4 plus years of experience in TypeScript
- Experience with Micro Front Ends (MFE) is a plus
- Experience in Styling: SCSS
- Experience in TailwindCSS / Chakra UI is a plus
- Experience in Unit testing with Jest
- SEO & performance optimization (Lighthouse 90+ scores)
- CMS integration (Sanity / Contentful / Strapi)
- Analytics: Google Tag Manager, GA4
- A/B testing & growth stack setup
- Proven experience shipping SEO friendly , data-driven web applications
- Thrives in startup-like environments: hands-on, detail-oriented, and ownership-driven

Take Home Assessment:
A take-home assessment to demonstrate your knowledge and skills in both frontend and backend development.
Estimated time: 2 hours.
Note: Assessment is unrelated to Sleek's business, and will not be used or distributed beyond the interview process.
Case study interview
A :90 minute chat with the member of the team to validate the technical aptitude of the candidate.
Career Deep Dive/Behavioral fit interview
A :30 minute chat with the senior management to assess behavioural and culture fit
Offer + reference calls
We'll make a non-binding offer verbally or over email, followed by a couple of short phone or video calls with references that you provide to us.
