Position Summary
This is an amazing opportunity to be an engineer in a high-growth, high-potential startup. In this role, you will be part of the Harness Code Repository team and responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software that has a direct impact on thousands of developers like you.
About The Role
- Core Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, mission-critical software in a fast-paced environment.
- Author clear and comprehensive functional specifications and design documentation.
- Quickly master complex systems and codebases to take ownership of key components, including ensuring the quality of the delivered product.
- Design and implement scalable algorithms.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate problems within a distributed computing environment.
- Conduct peer reviews of specifications, designs, and code.
- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers and cross-functional teams to diagnose and troubleshoot production performance issues.
- Languages: Golang, Java
- Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, GCP, Redis
- A desire to build products that solve complex technical problems for end users
- 1-3 years experience developing highly scalable, distributed applications, products and services in Golang, Java or similar languages
- Experience with GCP/AWS/Azure is a plus.
- Understanding of how distributed resilient software is built and deployed
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills
- Comfort in working in short, agile, iterative development cycles
- Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality
- Strong desire to work in an unstructured, fast moving startup environment
- B Tech degree in CS or equivalent
