This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing boutique Managed Service Provider delivering IT and network solutions to customers across the UK and Europe. As a Network / IT Support Engineer, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise environments and developing your skills across Microsoft 365, Cisco, and Meraki technologies.


You’ll be joining a small, close-knit technical team where your work will make a real impact — supporting clients remotely, providing onsite remote hands where needed, and learning the ropes across both IT and networking disciplines. It’s a perfect role for someone early in their career who wants strong mentorship, technical variety, and the flexibility of working from home.


Responsibilities:

• Provide remote and onsite IT support for customer environments.

• Deliver “remote hands” assistance, including hardware checks, patching, and UPS/power maintenance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Microsoft 365 and general desktop environments.

• Support network troubleshooting on Cisco and Meraki infrastructures.

• Work with the wider technical team on system updates, monitoring, and small project tasks.

• Log, track, and manage incidents through to resolution in line with SLAs.

• Deliver outstanding customer service with clear and proactive communication.


Skills / Must Have:

• Some commercial IT support experience (1st or 2nd line level).

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and Windows troubleshooting.

• Basic understanding of networking — particularly Cisco or Meraki.

• Ability to perform remote hands work (power cycling, patching, cabling checks, etc.).

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-moving MSP.


Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience with UPS / power management.

• Any IT certifications (CompTIA, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft) would be beneficial.

Salary:

ÂŁ25,000 per annum


Location:

Home-based (ideally located within easy reach of London for occasional site visits)
