Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly connected, commercially savvy leader that helps our organization move from gut-feel decisions to data-informed growth. This is not a typical FP&A role that crunches numbers — it's about building the financial decision making machine of the organization, one insight at a time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost-benefit analyses across key initiatives, partnerships, and campaigns, and establish a centralized repository so commercial and marketing teams are equipped with financial insights in the field
  • Design Dashboards and P&L proxies by team and major initiatives. Create simple, visual breakdowns that help BU leaders understand their financial footprint even without formal structures
  • Map where the money goes. Build a live, evolving cost-mapping system across departments to uncover burning spots and hidden value
  • Build financial models to support scenario planning (e.g. fundraising, new products, expansion)
  • Conduct profitability analysis by product, region, or customer segment
  • Turn numbers into narratives: Help teams understand what their numbers mean, why they matter, and how to act on them
  • Co-create budget planning tools with team leads so they can forecast their own growth, not just receive numbers top-down
  • Create lightweight ROI calculators for hiring plans, marketing pushes, and vendor deals
  • Map cost centers and operational expenses across the company to spot trends or inefficiencies

What success looks like in the first 6 months:

  • Clear dashboards in place with financial visibility per initiative and business unit
  • A functioning ROI framework to evaluate marketing, hiring, and new deals
  • A fundraising model ready to support future investor conversations
  • First cost-efficiency opportunities identified and acted upon (driving the collaboration with other teams)
  • Established strong working relationships with Finance & Accounting, Partnerships, Marketing and P&C teams. Identifying and resolving pain points in how financial data flows to operational teams
  • Defined a repeatable methodology for cost-benefit analysis of new projects — recognized and adopted by at least 3 other business areas
  • Became the go-to strategic finance voice in leadership conversations, bringing clarity and structure to complex business choices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in commercial, corporate development, investment banking, or financial services roles
  • Demonstrated track record of successful business development or strategic dealmaking in the financial sector
  • Ideally experience in M&A, capital raising, or strategic partnerships is a strong plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of navigating high-level strategic conversations
  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with a high degree of ownership and discretion

What will make you successful:

  • Empowered Ownership: A proactive approach to responsibilities, taking initiative, and driving meaningful impact
  • Open & Clear Communication: A commitment to transparency that fosters trust, collaboration, and shared understanding
  • Results with Purpose: A focus on delivering high-quality outcomes while adapting to challenges with agility
  • AI-led Problem-Solving: A solutions-oriented mindset that embraces complexity and turns challenges into opportunities
  • Continuous Growth: We still have a lot to learn! A curiosity for learning and a drive to bring fresh ideas and knowledge to the team

Our Business Momentum:

We’re in full builder mode: with the freedom to test, propose, and shape the way things work. If you’re excited about designing from zero, wearing multiple hats, this role is for you. You'll have real ownership, visibility with the leadership team, and the opportunity to shape how future financial thinking becomes part of our culture.
