Job Title: Data Scientist


Location: London


Remuneration: Competitive, £50 per hour


Contract Details: Temporary, 12-month contract


Working Pattern: Full-time


Our client, a leading tech organisation, is seeking a talented and innovative Data Scientist to join their team on a temporary basis. As a Data Scientist, you will leverage your expertise in exploratory data analysis to produce groundbreaking solutions from complex and high-dimensional datasets.


Responsibilities:


Define, understand, and test opportunities to enhance the product, providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive roadmaps.

Identify and measure the success of product efforts by setting goals, forecasting, and monitoring key product metrics.

Utilise your technical acumen to develop data-driven strategies that serve billions of people and millions of businesses, using quantitative analysis, data mining, and experimentation.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform and execute product strategies and investment decisions.

Utilise different analytical and statistical approaches to solve challenging problems, working with large and complex datasets.


Skills:


Proficiency in data querying languages such as SQL, scripting languages like Python, and statistical/mathematical software such as R.

Strong written communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex information and engage others in meaningful discussions.

Experience working with large datasets.
