Contract Rate: Euro's 550 per day

We are looking for a skilled hands-on and proactive, operationally focused cloud engineer who:

• Possesses a strong blend of technical proficiency in Azure, M365 and Entra ID

Key responsibilities-

• Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of Azure and M365 environments, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance.
• Application Deployment: Deploy applications and their cloud components to the Azure landing zone, including databases (PostgreSQL), web and API gateways, message queues, and other relevant services to ensure seamless and secure integration with business operations.
• Containerization and Serverless Computing: Manage and support containerization using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), as well as implement and maintain serverless computing solutions with Azure Functions and Logic Apps to enable scalable, modern application architectures.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cost management tools to track performance and optimize resource usage.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to automation initiatives (PowerShell, Azure CLI), Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates, Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Configuration & Troubleshooting: Perform hands-on configuration, migration, and incident resolution for Azure services and M365 workloads.
• Identity & Access Management: Implement and maintain Entra ID Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, including Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM, MFA, and lifecycle management.
• Security & Governance: Apply Azure Policy, Blueprints, and governance principles; monitor security posture using Defender for Cloud and related tools.
• Integration & Support: Ensure seamless integration between Azure and M365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams).
• Documentation & Reporting: Produce operational runbooks, technical documentation, and compliance reports.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant Microsoft Certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500, MS-102, SC-series).

Experience:

• 3–5 years in cloud operations, systems engineering, or IAM administration.
• Proven experience managing Azure infrastructure and M365 workloads in production environments.

Technical Expertise:

• Azure: Compute, Storage, Networking, VNETs, Load Balancers, Firewalls with emphasis on application deployment in Landing Zone.
• Automation & DevOps: PowerShell scripting, Azure CLI, IaC (ARM Templates, Terraform), Azure DevOps.
• IAM: Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM, MFA.
• M365: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams administration.
• Security & Compliance: Defender for Cloud, governance policies, cost optimization, monitoring, logging and security tools.

Microsoft Cloud Ecosystem: Good understanding of Microsoft 365 core components (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams) and their integration points with Azure.
