Creston Games is an independent game studio dedicated to crafting unique multiplayer experiences that bring players together.


We’re currently working on a cooking-themed, semi-open world multiplayer game, built with care to offer players rich co-op gameplay and dynamic environments. Our international team values originality, collaboration, and pushing creative boundaries, always aiming to deliver games that feel fresh, meaningful, and fun.

Note: This is a revenue share position; compensation will be based on revenue sharing, rather than an upfront salary.


Job Description:

In this hybrid role, you’ll both create stylized 3D assets and help coordinate a team of fellow artists. You'll work closely with our Creative Director, Concept Artists and Lead Environment Artist to keep the game’s visual direction cohesive and high quality.


This is an active, production-focused role: ideal for someone who enjoys being “hands-on” while also mentoring others and keeping workflows on track.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create stylized 3D assets (characters, vehicles, props etc.) matching the game’s visual style.
  • Collaborate with team members to keep the art direction cohesive and high quality.
  • Support, mentor, and coordinate a small team of artists.
  • Help design and manage efficient asset pipelines and workflows.
  • Optimize assets to ensure smooth performance on PC platforms.
  • Work within Unity to implement and adjust assets as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Solid experience as a 3D Artist, Environment Artist, or similar role in stylized or semi-realistic games.
  • Proficiency with tools like Blender, Maya, or similar.
  • Good eye for composition, color, and detail.
  • Comfortable both guiding a small team and contributing directly to asset production.
  • High familiarity with Unity or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Willingness to learn, iterate on feedback, and collaborate with a remote team.
  • Understanding of texturing, shading, and optimization techniques.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience mentoring or leading a creative team.
  • Knowledge of rigging.
  • Passion for cooking-themed games or cultural storytelling.
  • Experience working in remote indie teams.
