Senior DevOps Engineer – Dublin / Hybrid
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the way in building, scaling, and securing our cloud platforms. If you’re passionate about automation, reliability, and modern DevOps practices, this is an opportunity to have real technical ownership and impact.You’ll help define and drive our DevOps strategy, mentor engineers, and champion best practices across infrastructure, CI/CD, and security. This is a hands-on role where you’ll architect, automate, and optimize systems that power production environments every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Architect and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Design and manage cloud-native infrastructure through Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Lead containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
- Drive automation and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
- Integrate DevSecOps principles including secrets management, IAM governance, and compliance automation.
- Improve performance, scalability, and reliability across all environments.
- Mentor and support junior DevOps and platform engineers.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies such as GitOps, serverless architectures, and Kubernetes operators.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years’ experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
- Proven expertise with AWS (Azure or GCP experience beneficial).
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Solid scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Strong background in Linux administration and networking.
- Excellent understanding of CI/CD and automation best practices.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor and lead technical discussions.
Nice to have:
Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux), serverless computing, modern observability stacks (Datadog, Splunk, OpenTelemetry), and cloud security standards (ISO27001, SOC2, GDPR).
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or Azure DevOps Expert are an advantage.
