The UI/UX Intern Digital Customer Experience (DCE) is part of the globally operating Digital Customer Experience Overseas team, located in Amsterdam, within Global Operations. In this role the intern supports the user behaviour analysis, aligning business requirements, mapping and conceptualizing these into new or updated UI/UX designs and prototypes, which will be used for further website developments of our consumer and/or business support portals for AOC and Philips TV, Sound, Monitors and display products.
These websites provide information and services for our customer across the world, to help themselves finding the answers and services they are looking for based on their query.
DCE team works closely with other teams like IT, Service Innovations, Service Management, Marketing and Customer care teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyse the current customer journey including UI/UX
- Process business requirements and/or Legal requirements related to UI/UX
- Map and design new improvement concepts
- Translate designs into prototypes for first user feedback loops
- Support the setup of new development requests based on designs for our IT team
- Verify developments with user tests before and after implementation
- Overall contribution to the current improvement plans for the websites
- Academic (University) / Higher Business School (Polytechnic)
- Period for 5-6 months, 40 hours per week
- Experience with UI/UX design tools like Figma (preferred)
- Knowledge of UI/UX design theories, processes and elements
- Familiarity with online/digital Customer journeys
- Strong analytical and verbal skills
