We are currently looking for an IT Security Officer to join a leading financial services organization specializing in international liquidity and information management solutions for global multinationals. This organization operates in a highly international environment, with a strong focus on innovation, security, and customer satisfaction.
About the role
As an IT Security Officer, you will be part of the IT Security team, providing advisory and guidance to DevOps squads working on development and IT operations. You will play a key role in ensuring IT-related risks remain within appetite and maintaining a secure and compliant IT environment that enables the business to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Provide IT security advice and guidance to DevOps teams.
- Translate IT risk and security requirements into testing and reporting specifications.
- Support teams in penetration testing, secure code review, and remediation.
- Guide teams in static and dynamic code analysis (SDLC).
- Ensure security of CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze needs and design secure solutions.
Requirements:
- 3–4+ years of experience in an IT security role (preferably in financial services or software companies).
- Java Development Experience.
- Experience with coding or secure code review/remediation.
- Knowledge of network and web-related protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP/S).
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and remediation.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO2700x, NIST, ISF, CIS).
- Nice to have: Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CEH) or experience with tools such as Checkmarx.
