We are looking for a Java Backend Developer (Hybrid — Coimbra):

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Strong proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate;
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle);
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, etc.);
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance;
• Good understanding of API design and REST best practices;
• Experience with API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman);
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.);
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and strong focus on Kubernetes orchestration;
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure;
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito;
• Fluency in English.
