Senior Machine Learning Developer - GenAI

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to drive GenAI adoption and build reusable templates for AI services on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable templates for RAG, FastAPI services, evaluation pipelines, and AKS deployment
• Standardize engineering practices including CI/CD, observability, testing, and documentation
• Support enablement through workshops, documentation, and hands-on guidance
• Communicate effectively with engineers and product owners to understand needs and share best practices
• Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency, security, and compliance in GenAI solutions
• Drive adoption of secure-by-default engineering practices within the team
• Improve and optimize internal accelerators for AI service development

Requirements

• Strong Python engineering skills with 3+ years of experience
• Experience in GenAI application development including RAG, embeddings, and prompt design
• Hands-on experience with Azure-native delivery including OpenAI, AI Search, AKS, ACR, and Key Vault
• Experience managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Demonstrated ability to build reusable components and templates
• Effective communication skills with the ability to teach and collaborate across teams
• Experience working in agile environments and supporting enablement activities
• English language proficiency at B2+ level

Nice to have

• Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and pytest
• Knowledge of vector databases such as PostgreSQL + pgvector and Cosmos DB
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and infrastructure as code
