We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to drive GenAI adoption and build reusable templates for AI services on Azure.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reusable templates for RAG, FastAPI services, evaluation pipelines, and AKS deployment
- Standardize engineering practices including CI/CD, observability, testing, and documentation
- Support enablement through workshops, documentation, and hands-on guidance
- Communicate effectively with engineers and product owners to understand needs and share best practices
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency, security, and compliance in GenAI solutions
- Drive adoption of secure-by-default engineering practices within the team
- Improve and optimize internal accelerators for AI service development
Requirements
- Strong Python engineering skills with 3+ years of experience
- Experience in GenAI application development including RAG, embeddings, and prompt design
- Hands-on experience with Azure-native delivery including OpenAI, AI Search, AKS, ACR, and Key Vault
- Experience managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Demonstrated ability to build reusable components and templates
- Effective communication skills with the ability to teach and collaborate across teams
- Experience working in agile environments and supporting enablement activities
- English language proficiency at B2+ level
Nice to have
- Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and pytest
- Knowledge of vector databases such as PostgreSQL + pgvector and Cosmos DB
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and infrastructure as code
