We are looking for a project manager to join our team!

At Better we are building software solutions that help medical teams improve patient care. Our advanced open-data medical platform and healthcare applications already support over 30 million patients’ electronic health records worldwide, making data quality our number one priority.

This is where you come in as our project manager. As project manager, you will be key to delivering the Better software suite and Digital Health platform projects. You’ll oversee multiple projects and clients, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery within scope. You’ll work closely with the Delivery Team Lead for project coordination and the Commercial Director for customer consultancy and project scoping.

Skills and expertise you need to excel in this position:

  • Experienced project manager with 3–5 years delivering IT projects, particularly in healthcare IT and enterprise software, with strong knowledge of clinical workflows and how IT systems support them.
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Asana, and ClickUp, with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong communicator and presenter, skilled in building stakeholder trust, handling objections, negotiating, and resolving conflicts, while making informed decisions quickly under pressure.
  • Experienced in end-to-end project execution, including business analysis (requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design), and financial management (budgeting, forecasting, cost control).
  • Committed to high ethical standards, especially in handling sensitive patient data and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field; knowledge of digital health platforms and standards (e.g., openEHR, IHE, HL7 FHIR) is a plus.

How will you drive success in this role through your daily actions?

  • Lead full lifecycle delivery of healthcare software projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timely, on-budget completion through effective coordination of cross-functional teams and resources.
  • Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risks while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders via reports, updates, and presentations.
  • Gather and translate functional requirements into technical specifications and user stories, collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement through post-project reviews, process enhancements, and contributions to project methodology and best practices.
  • Support pre-sales and tender efforts by providing expertise on implementation strategies and services within the Digital Health space.
  • Stay current with healthcare IT standards and apply industry best practices to optimize project outcomes and client satisfaction.

What will you get as part of the Better team?
