Visual Graphic Designer – Freelance 

Fluent in Spanish and very good command of English 

The Report Company produces country reports focused on business and investment, distributed with leading international publications such as The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, Newsweek, Die Welt, and The Economic Observer (China). 

We are looking for a designer with strong editorial and print production skills. You will work closely with our editorial team to design country reports, advertisements, and marketing materials for both print and digital editions. You will be responsible for preparing final print files, maintaining layout consistency, and ensuring visual quality across all publications. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and prepare print-ready layouts for country reports in Adobe InDesign 
• Coordinate advertising designs and prepare client-supplied material for print 
• Ensure all files meet the technical requirements of partner media outlets 
• Develop marketing and promotional materials for campaigns 
• Collaborate with editorial and production teams to meet deadlines 

Required qualifications and knowledge: 

• Degree in graphic design or equivalent, with up to 2 years of professional experience 
• Strong command of Adobe InDesign (essential) and familiarity with Figma and other design tools 
• Proven experience in print layout design and preparing files for press 
• Understanding of typography, grid systems, and editorial composition 
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
• Excellent organizational and communication skills 
• Fluent in Spanish and very good command of English 

Nice to Have 

• Basic knowledge of web or digital layout design
