.NET Developer

Headway is recruiting on behalf of a leading Norwegian technology consultancy that is building one of the strongest .NET environments in the country. You’ll join a senior engineering community with deep expertise in backend development, architecture, and technical advisory - working closely with clients who value quality.

About the Company

• A senior technology consultancy in Oslo specializing in .NET, software architecture, and technical advisory
• Around 40 experienced engineers with 7–30 years of experience (average ~15)
• Trusted by well-known Norwegian brands across media, finance, retail, industry, and tech
• Part of a larger Nordic digital group, offering development opportunities across companies, teams, and client segments

The Role

You will join a highly skilled engineering environment where knowledge sharing, craftsmanship, and advisory ownership are central. Most projects are backend-heavy, but all consultants are positioned as full-stack - modern frontend experience (e.g., React) is a strong plus.

What We’re Looking For

• 3-4+ years of professional experience and strong C#/.NET skills
• Experience with Azure, DevOps/CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Comfortable in client-facing and advisory roles
• Ability to understand the business context behind technical decisions
• Structured, reliable, and able to provide simple, robust solutions to complex problems
• Engaged in contributing to both the technical and social culture

Formal education is not required - ability and experience matter most. Some clients may request formal qualifications.

Practical Details

• Salary: Total package up to 1.2M NOK
• Pension: 6%
• Open to English-speaking engineers willing to learn Norwegian over time
• Also open to Stockholm-based profiles interested in the Norwegian market
