At Umain Gothenburg, part of the Eidra group, we’re looking for a Tech Lead to guide the technical direction of our projects. You’ll design systems, support developers, and work with clients to deliver solutions that last and perform well.
Umain is just getting started in Gothenburg, giving you the chance to help shape a new studio and influence how we work. Umain is a digital product consultancy. We shape, ship and scale digital products at speed. Founded in Stockholm in 2001, we are a growing team of 100+ experts in digital product strategy, design, and technology.
We are a part of Eidra, a group of top-notch companies specializing in strategy, creativity, and engineering. As a collective we guide leaders in making meaningful and lasting change.

Our Work Is Varied. You Might
- Launch an interactive marketing platform for an AAA video game release
- Build an adaptive mobile customer experience for a global restaurant brand
- Bring a national history museum collection into the virtual world using photo capture and VR
What you’ll do
- Guide and design system architectures that are secure, scalable, and reliable
- Choose tools and set coding standards that help projects run smoothly
- Work with designers, strategists, and clients to turn ideas into practical technical solutions.
- Lead technical planning in projects and support colleagues during pitches.
- Run workshops with clients to explore options and make informed decisions.
- Support and mentor other developers, helping them grow their skills.
- At least 7 years of experience in software development, ideally across frontend and backend
- Comfortable working with modern frontend frameworks (Next.js, Svelte, Flutter) and backend technologies (Golang, Rust, Kotlin)
- Experienced in designing systems, APIs, and integrations
- Able to explain technical topics clearly to both developers and non-technical people
- Someone who enjoys solving problems and supporting others.
