Position Title: Visual 3D Designer

Description of the assignment

• You will work within the Clients' HMI team, a cross-functional team where storytelling, creativity and craft are highly valued.
• They work in close collaboration with all other design departments shaping the mobility experience of the future.
• As a multidisciplinary visual designer, you will blend 3D design, motion graphics, product visualization, graphic design and UI/UX into engaging visual experiences across digital and physical touchpoints.
• You will take ideas from early conceptual explorations to polished visuals ready for presentation or implementation.

Specific needs for this assignment include:

• Create compelling assets for HMI concepts including 3D content, UI graphics, motion, animations and product visualizations
• Support design storytelling through high-quality 2D/3D content, motion tests and visual narratives
• Develop implementation-ready visual assets for in-car interfaces and physical interior
• components
• Ensure alignment with brand direction and contribute to evolving aesthetics of the Clients' digital experience
• Bridge conceptual creative exploration with technical execution and delivery
• You will collaborate closely with digital, interaction and brand designers and interior/exterior teams to craft cohesive digital-physical experiences.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability
• Diverse portfolio demonstrating 3D, motion, graphic design and UI/UX (concept → execution)
• Skilled in visualization, animation and storytelling for mobility or related industries
• Ability to create production-ready digital assets and implementation graphics
• Strong understanding of visual principles: composition, typography, iconography, hierarchy
• Good knowledge of UI animation workflows
• Experience working in fast-paced, iterative design environments
• Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines and functions
• Experience from automotive design is highly valued

• Travels to China may be needed (approx. 1-2 trips per year).
