Role overview:
Project Manager to lead RFP/RFQ processes focused on IT break/fix services, including hardware maintenance, on-site support, and service-level agreements (SLAs). This role is ensuring timely vendor selection and contract execution for IT support operations across multiple locations or business units.
Qualifications:
- Project management experience, with at least 3 years in IT procurement or break/fix service management.
- Strong understanding of IT support models, hardware lifecycle management, and service-level agreements.
- Experience with procurement platforms and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, vendor management, and negotiation skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience managing multi-site or EMEA/global IT support contracts.
- Familiarity with OEM warranty structures and third-party maintenance providers.
- Knowledge of compliance and risk management in IT service delivery (e.g., data handling, security protocols,PCI).
Key responsibilities:
- Support contract negotiations and ensure alignment with internal procurement and legal standards.
- Track implementation timelines and support implementation.
- Maintain documentation for audit, reporting, and delivery.
- Manage the full lifecycle of RFP/RFQ processes for IT break/fix services, including scope definition, vendor outreach, evaluation, and selection.
- Collaborate with IT operations, procurement, legal and finance teams to define service requirements, response criteria, and budget constraints.
- Develop and issue RFP/RFQ documentation for services in a retail store environment for hardware maintenance, warranty management and logistics support.
- Coordinate vendor Q&A sessions, site visits, and proposal reviews.
- Evaluate vendor responses based on experience, cost, coverage, SLA, technical capabilities, and compliance.
