As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will join a small and diverse team located across five European cities. Using tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Amplitude, the role involves building dashboards, running deep-dive analyses, and uncovering trends that matter. You’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for our marketing, product, and content teams, helping drive growth and better decision-making across SkyShowtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run deep-dive analyses to uncover drivers of acquisition, engagement, churn, and content performance.
  • Create and maintain high-impact, interactive and visually appealing automated dashboards that empower the entire organisation to make the best decisions possible on marketing, product and content.
  • Build solutions from scripting SQL queries through designing data models for reporting to creating visuals in Tableau.
  • Partner and communicate effectively with stakeholders, gather their requirements and suggest analytical and reporting solutions that are relevant and address the right questions.
  • Upskill stakeholders in data literacy and champion data-driven decision making.
  • Monitor and optimise existing reporting suite and data sources, ensure that they continue to meet business requirements, contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Be a champion of data quality, work closely with the Data Product & Engineering teams on ensuring data accuracy, perform rigorous quality assurance to deliver accurate and reliable insights.
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset and take ownership of your work.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience working in a BI/analytics/insights roles, ideally in streaming, entertainment, or subscription businesses.
  • Extensive experience in using SQL is essential.
  • Routine in handling and structuring large volumes of data.
  • Hands on experience in building dashboards and data visualizations with Tableau (preferable), or other visualization suites (e.g., Power BI, Looker).
  • Familiarity with Amplitude, experience with Python or other statistical programming language (e.g., R, SAS) is a plus.
  • Practice in generating actionable insights and creating compelling data-driven narratives.
  • Proven experience in designing measures and metrics; in depth knowledge of visualization best practices.
  • You possess excellent attention to detail.
  • You have a pragmatic, flexible attitude, you easily adapt to changes and can deal with ambiguity.
  • You can work autonomously on challenging projects with a great variety of problems to solve.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent oral and writing skills. Additional European language capabilities are a plus.
