By helping merchants adopt PayPal products and leveraging our suite of Financial Services offeringsincluding Credit and Debit Cards, Business Loans, Buy Now Pay Later options, and Money Management toolsthe team drives business expansion, operational efficiency, and customer success. These financial products also strengthen consumer engagement and loyalty by expanding how customers can pay, finance, and manage their money through PayPal. SMB&FS Engineering plays a key role in advancing PayPals mission to revolutionize commerce globally

Essential Responsibilities
- Implements tasks within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), receiving structure and oversight from more experienced staff
- Follows well-established internal conventions and standard procedures
- Understands internal standards & processes an applies them to make technical decisions
- Collaborates with peers, manager, and project lead to gain understanding of tasks and review solutions
- May contribute to code & design reviews
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with hands-on experience using at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Foundational understanding of backend technologies and APIs, with a desire to build skills in server-side development.
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and familiarity with agile development environments.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a fast-paced engineering organization.
- Experience with Node.js, GraphQL, or similar Full Stack technologies.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and web accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud services, or database integration.
