Java E-Trading Developer

The job duties would involve:

• Hands on Senior Java developer with over 5 years of enterprise development experience
• Develop system architectures, designs and concepts
• Trader facing desk quant developer role for developing and maintaining & improving trading e-Trading Platform to be used to across markets globally
• Server side component development experience
• Ability to get along with all functional teams, contribute solutions and ideas to the problems
• To build various components/applications with latest technologies for new trading platform
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• To develop and maintain tools and platforms to enable researchers to come up with varied trading strategies
• To deploy and monitor trading systems in live markets
• To analyze and optimize the existing applications, doing peer code reviews, documentation and ensuring code is of high quality via unit tests, continuous integration, etc.

Skills Required-

• Excellent & hands-on designing & development knowledge of Electronic Trading methodologies
• Proficient in Java 11 or 17
• Experience designing and supporting low latency, high throughput trading applications
• Excellent Server side component development, deep understanding of multithreading server components, JVM & garbage collection
• Extensive experience with asynchronous, event-driven programming & concurrency
• Experience on entire SDLC life cycle. Proven use of Design Patterns is a plus.
• Experience of unit testing and continuous integration.
• Excellent understanding of exchange gateways & gateway technology development framework
• Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)
• Apache Camel (Version 3)
• REST API (including Enterprise Authentication and Authentication)
• Enterprise services (including monitoring, state management)
• JMS (Active MQ or similar)
• MS SQL Server and/or Sybase experience
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining low-latency electronic trading solutions for US treasuries, futures or swaps.
• Experience integrating proprietary components with ION, TradeWeb or Bloomberg
• Experience with Capital Markets, understanding how Derivatives instruments are priced and valued, RFQ workflow
