Product Manager - Product Owner

We are in search of a Product Manager (Product Owner) who possesses extensive hands-on experience as a Business Analyst to manage and improve our key product designed to transform the Talent Acquisition process at EPAM.

The ideal candidate will be a vital member of our product team, responsible for overseeing various product modules from initiation to successful deployment. This position is crucial as we adjust our operations to align with organizational expansion and evolving recruitment needs to facilitate data-driven business decisions.

Responsibilities


  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Delivery Manager, and Engineers during the Product's discovery, design, and implementation stages
  • Lead the development of features throughout the product lifecycle from concept to fruition
  • Assist Product Manager & Delivery Manager in scheduling deliverables
  • Promote ongoing process enhancements within the team
  • Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders and end users
  • Plan and execute user interviews and workshops with Business Analysts and UX Designers
  • Collaborate with UX Designers on user interface modeling and wireframing
  • Identify, document existing system functions and business processes
  • Develop product and requirements documentation including guides and release notes
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for specific product modules
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and usability of requirements documentation
  • Participate in the team's Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)
  • Manage acceptance testing for completed backlog items


Requirements


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management
  • Demonstrated expertise in Business Analysis
  • Commitment to a minimum of a 1-year assignment
  • Ability to work effectively within a distributed team environment
  • Critical thinking skills with a customer-centric mindset
  • Skills in solutions generation, user story writing, creating acceptance criteria, and diagramming
  • Expertise in web applications design
  • Confident English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
  • Practical experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
  • Understanding of system integration concepts and intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Capability to analyze data for validating assumptions


Nice to have


  • Background in Recruitment, Staffing, or Hiring domains
  • Experience in launching startup products
  • Familiarity with user research and UX testing
  • Knowledge of organizing Business Analysis teamwork
