Key Responsibilities:

Build dynamic, insight-driven Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX and custom KPIs.
Use Power Query for data transformation, cleansing, and model preparation.
Apply strong data modeling practices (star schema, relationships, hierarchies) for scalable reporting.
Write and optimize SQL queries across multiple platforms (SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
Interpret and troubleshoot Python-based ETL scripts, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage access through Power BI workspace governance.
Translate business questions into analytical solutions and clear visual storytelling.
Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, gaps, and ensure data accuracy.

Must-have Skills:

3–5 years of experience building data visualizations and analyzing business datasets.
Strong experience with Azure.
Proficiency in Portuguese.
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
Strong command of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), Data Modeling, Row-Level Security (RLS), Bookmarks, and Tooltips.
Proficiency in SQL across platforms such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Databricks SQL.
Experience with Python and ETL-related libraries: pandas, polars, json, SQLAlchemy, pyodbc, arm.
Exposure to Python ETL frameworks or orchestration tools like Airflow, DBT, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks Workflows, etc.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional data teams.

Nice-to-have:

AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
