Responsibilities
- Develop and implement UX and UI designs for a new Shopify store, tailored to the food retail sector
- Conduct user research and analyze customer journeys to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for desktop and mobile experiences
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into effective design solutions
- Ensure the store design aligns with brand identity and enhances the overall customer experience
- Optimize site navigation, product pages, and checkout flow for usability and conversion
- Test and iterate on designs based on feedback and analytics
- Stay updated on Shopify platform capabilities and e-commerce design best practices
- Proven experience designing UX and UI for Shopify stores, preferably in e-commerce or food retail
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design and visual aesthetics
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Solid understanding of Shopify’s theme structure, customization, and app integrations
- Ability to conduct user research and usability testing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
- Experience working remotely with companies or clients
- Availability for a single project with potential for future work
