Transformation Project Manager – Brussels – Freelance

Robson Bale are looking for a Freelance Project Manager to come on board for an initial 12 month contract in Brussels.

12 months, market rate

3 days per week on site.

Candidates MUST have the rights to work in Belgium, we are unable to offer sponsorship or work visas

As a Transformation Project Manager, you’ll make an impact by:

• Leading technology-driven projects, ensuring successful delivery within defined scope, timelines, and budget.

• In addition to project oversight, taking direct ownership of selected initiatives within the project and driving them from concept to execution.

• Guiding cross-functional project teams and fostering seamless collaboration across departments and disciplines.

• Managing stakeholder communication and engagement, ensuring transparency and alignment of expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proactively identifying and mitigating risks, while supporting behavioural change management efforts across impacted areas.

• Ensuring quality assurance and adherence to established governance standards and delivery frameworks.

• Applying agile methodologies and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across delivery teams.

About you

• You have at least 5 years' experience in project or programme management roles within complex, technology-driven organizations.
• You are comfortable managing both the big picture and the details, balancing project oversight with hands-on project leadership.
• You have a strong affinity with technology and GenAi.
• You possess excellent organisational and leadership skills, with a proven track record of shaping governance structures and project implementation models.
• You are hands-on with project management tools and techniques and enjoy leading both Agile and Waterfall projects.
• You are an effective communicator, capable of influencing and inspiring a diverse set of stakeholders (both Business and IT).
• You hold a relevant degree or certification in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• You are fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
