Senior Credit Analyst ( Group )
We’re looking for an analytical, technical, and results-oriented Senior Credit Analyst to join our centralized Credit team. You’ll take ownership of key credit risk analyses, automate critical reporting, and uncover insights to improve decision-making across Baltics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Credit Reporting & Automation:
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated credit risk reports and dashboards that deliver clear, actionable insights at the group level.
Portfolio Performance Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth analyses to get insights, identify risks, and propose improvements to credit risk strategies across all markets and products.
Underwriting Analytics Support:
- Source, define, and deliver key analytical inputs from daily underwriting data to the Data Science team, supporting the continuous development of scoring models and decision flows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a strategic analytical partner between Regional, Data Science, and Decision Engine teams, ensuring local performance insights effectively inform group-level credit strategies.
Continuous Improvement & Insight Development:
- Identify process gaps and performance bottlenecks, propose data-backed solutions, and contribute to the ongoing development of ESTO’s credit analytics infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in credit risk analysis, analytics, or portfolio management, ideally in fintech, banking, consumer finance, or similar industries.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with expertise in SQL, Python, Excel, or similar analytics tools.
- Experience building and automating analytical reports or dashboards.
- Track record of delivering actionable insights that shape strategy and influence outcomes.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Estonian, Latvian, or Lithuanian is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the confidence to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
