⭐️About the role

We’re looking for a Front-end Developer to help us build a fast, reliable, and user-friendly world-class car auction platform for two equally important user groups:

consumers and companies who want to sell their cars effortlessly, and dealerships who want efficient, modern tools to source high volumes of quality cars.

At AutoVex, design and engineering go hand in hand — this role is key to ensuring every interaction in our product feels effortless, consistent, and high-performing.

You’ll work closely with Product and Design to turn ideas into beautiful, scalable interfaces that drive measurable impact.

From improving our auction experience to refining how sellers and dealers interact with the platform, your work will directly influence conversion, engagement, and user satisfaction.

You’ll take ownership of our frontend stack — Vue.js, Tailwind CSS and Vite — helping evolve our component library and strengthen our design system for scalability and consistency.

We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about performance, accessibility, and craft, and who enjoys turning great design into fast, reliable, and elegant code.

This is an opportunity to shape the frontend culture within a growing Product & Tech team, influence technical direction, and see your work used by real people every day. We’re a flexible team, but we also value face-to-face collaboration — so we’d love for you to spend some time at the office regularly (this isn’t a fully remote role).

💻 Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, and Vite.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma (or similar) designs into high-quality, responsive, accessible interfaces.
• Build and maintain reusable UI components and documentation using Storybook.
• Integrate and optimize dynamic content via Contentful to support a flexible, scalable architecture.
• Ensure consistent implementation of design and UX across the application.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to team discussions, and share best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and accessibility.
• Stay current with the latest trends in frontend development and bring innovative ideas to the team.

🎯Skills, knowledge, and expertise to succeed

• Solid experience building modern web applications with Vue.js or another modern framework (React, Next.js, etc.).
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience working with responsive, accessible, and mobile-first design principles.
• Familiarity with component-driven development and tools like Storybook.
• An eye for detail and a strong sense of user experience and interface quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional squad environment.
• Experience with design systems, automated testing, and performance optimization.
• Comfortable owning and improving your part of the codebase — not just writing code, but shaping how we build.
