Salesforce Technical Architect (Revenue Cloud)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect specialising in Revenue Cloud (CPQ

& Billing) to lead the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions for enterprise

clients. The ideal candidate will have deep technical and functional expertise in Salesforce

Revenue Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and Subscription Management, coupled with strong solution design

and integration skills across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

∙Architect end-to-end Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing) solutions, ensuring scalability,

performance, and maintainability.

∙Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust

technical designs.

∙Define and oversee solution architecture, data models, and system integrations across ERP,

CRM, and billing platforms.

∙Provide technical leadership to Salesforce development teams during design, build, and

deployment phases.

∙Define governance, best practices, and standards for Salesforce implementations.

∙Evaluate and recommend Salesforce-native and AppExchange components to meet business

needs.

∙Integrate Salesforce with external systems (ERP, Middleware, Payment Gateways, Data

Platforms).

∙Ensure adherence to Salesforce security, compliance, and performance standards.

∙Review code and provide technical mentorship to developers and admins.

∙Support pre-sales activities including solution demos, technical workshops, and effort

estimation.

Required Skills & Experience

∙10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Salesforce solution design and architecture.

∙Proven experience architecting and implementing Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Billing,

Subscription Management).

∙Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

∙Proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Integration APIs (REST, SOAP).

∙Experience with middleware tools like Mulesoft or Dell Boomi.

∙Strong knowledge of data modelling, security, and performance tuning in Salesforce.

∙Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or finance

systems.

∙Salesforce Technical Architect / Application Architect certification preferred.

∙Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce certifications in Revenue Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist, or Billing Specialist.

Experience in Agile delivery environments.

Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins).
