As a Sales & Product Marketing Manager, Aftersales, your mission is to maximize aftersales sales volume and customer satisfaction by leading and developing the aftersales team. This ensures a high level of brand awareness, business growth, and customer loyalty. The role covers all brands represented by Astara Finland.
Main Functions/Responsibilities
- Aftersales Network Management: Lead aftersales network steering and dispersion management.
- Financial Management: Manage aftersales budget creation and hold full Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility.
- Team Leadership: Lead by example, aligned with Astara values and goals. Coach and motivate the aftersales team to deliver exceptional customer service. Set performance goals and KPIs, and regularly assess progress. Develop team’s product knowledge, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Business Case Development: Create and propose new business cases to support performance and customer satisfaction.
- Service Network Improvement: Propose and implement improvements in network management.
- Customer Retention and Loyalty: Develop and deploy strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty. Engage proactively with customers to understand needs and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Customer Journey Management: Develop and deploy online and offline customer journey processes.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze customer feedback, data, and trends to identify improvement areas. Prepare regular reports on aftersales performance, customer satisfaction, and KPIs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Provide insights to improve product offerings based on customer feedback.
- Process Improvement: As Aftersales Business Process Owner, continuously review and optimize processes through system development to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, business administration, or equivalent
- Strong background in aftersales and field operations with a solid understanding of aftersales processes
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in key areas of automotive aftersales at a car importer or multi-location group
- Experience in team leadership seen as a strong asset
- Proven experience in budget management and P&L responsibility
- Knowledge of local customer protection and commercial legislation related to vehicle aftersales
- Basic product comprehension: functionalities, properties, legal and regulatory requirements
- Team Leadership skills and capabilities
- Fluent in Finnish and English, written and oral
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
