As part of strengthening its infrastructure team, our client is looking for a Storage Expert specialized in Hitachi to support a critical migration and deployment project.

You will bring your expertise on the Hitachi VSP platform and contribute to the management and optimization of the global storage ecosystem (Hitachi, Dell EMC, SAN Brocade, etc.).

Main responsibilities

• Lead migration, deployment, and administration operations on Hitachi VSP platforms (SVOS, SAM4H, VSM).
• Contribute to the maintenance, performance, and reliability of Dell EMC storage environments (Unity, VPLEX, ECS, Isilon).
• Manage and optimize Brocade SAN Switches (DCX) and related tools (BNA, MAPS, FOS).
• Develop and automate recurring tasks through Bash, KSH, or Perl scripting (Ansible is a plus).
• Collaborate closely with Unix, VMware, and Network teams to ensure infrastructure consistency.
• Provide Level 3 support and participate in 24/7 on-call duties, following ITIL best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of solid experience in storage engineering and administration, with proven expertise on Hitachi VSP solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge of:
• Hitachi: VSP, SVOS, SAM4H, VSM
• Dell EMC: Unity, VPLEX, ECS, Isilon
• SAN: Brocade DCX, BNA, MAPS, FOS
• Good understanding of Unix Volume Manager (ZFS, AIX MPIO, Linux Device Mapper) and VMware vCenter / ESX environments.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash / KSH / Perl); Ansible is a real asset.
• Sound knowledge of ITIL methodologies.
• Fluent English required.
