About This Role

As a Junior Data Analyst on the Finance Analytics team at Just Eat Takeaway.com, you will leverage data-driven insights and business acumen to support Financial Data Operations, create and maintain data products and deliver compelling analyses to the FP&A department, Group Reporting, and global stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal in optimising data processes and infrastructure, driving informed decision-making, and implementing advanced methods, tools, and techniques to enhance the team's effectiveness.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Drive company-wide order profitability analysis and reporting for cross-functional teams, ensuring data integrity across all schemas
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze the primary drivers of revenue and cost
• Work with financial data sources to enable informed decision-making and drive innovative approaches
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to guarantee end-to-end accuracy in metric definition and measurement
• Develop and maintain order forecasting model for all markets in collaboration with trading leads
• Develop, migrate, and maintain financial dashboards in Looker to visualize key performance indicators and answer business questions.
• Identify trends, analyse key drivers, and support comparative analysis and testing.
• Develop and enhance SQL queries and automate processes within the data warehouse to improve reporting capabilities
  
  

What will you bring to the team?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of work experience preferred, ideally in an e-commerce environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data for diverse audiences.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, and dynamic business environment.
• A team player who takes initiative and ownership of tasks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Experience with the financial system OneStream is a plus.
