Senior Technology Engineer – Digitalization Engineer (LabVIEW / Python)

A global high-tech leader in the fields of energy management, smart water systems, e-mobility, and digital transformation platforms is looking for an experienced engineer to strengthen its R&D and production digitalization team.

In this role, you’ll be contributing to the digital evolution of modern manufacturing, developing advanced solutions that connect production systems, real-time data, and intelligent automation.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and implement devices, programs, and technologies for production digitalization (Industry 4.0)
• Integrate complex systems into central data infrastructures
• Maintain and improve existing production data monitoring solutions
• Collaborate on or lead R&D and process optimization projects
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production technology sector

What we’re looking for

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechatronics (VI/2)
• 5+ years of experience in a similar technical role
• Strong knowledge of LabVIEW or Python programming and databases
• Understanding of automation and digitalization principles
• Good command of English (written & spoken)
• Knowledge of production processes, data systems, and engineering improvements
• Project management skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
