We are looking for a GCP Platform Site Reliability Engineer to join a leading retail company in Barcelona on a permanent contract.
Location: Remote in Spain (Occasional trips to Barcelona)
Contract type: Permanent, direct with end client
Key responsibilities:
- Build and enhance a multi-cloud Kubernetes platform to support product teams.
- Automate CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure tools to improve developer experience.
- Deploy, maintain, and monitor cloud infrastructure across large-scale systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and scalability initiatives.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in SRE or Platform Engineering (10+ years total experience).
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform, GitOps, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience in large enterprise environments.
