Location:
Remote, Most of our product&engineering team is located in EU, so we will require some overlap with CET/CEST timezones. If you happen to live in Madrid, you may work at our office if you'd like to (e.g. some of the engineers go there every Thursday), but this is not compulsory.

Your Responsibilities
Infrastructure Excellence
Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions that support our applications and services.
Automation Focus
Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, monitoring, and maintenance wherever possible to ensure reliability and speed.
Ownership Mentality
Take responsibility for the availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of our cloud environments, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborative Spirit
Work closely with backend engineers, QA, and product teams. Participate in daily standups and planning sessions to ensure DevOps initiatives align with product goals.
Security Awareness
Address and resolve vulnerabilities identified during penetration tests, applying best practices for secrets management and IAM policies.
Innovation Drive
Continuously explore new DevOps tools, AWS features, and industry trends to enhance our automation, performance, and cost optimization.
Continuous Improvement
Share insights, improve internal processes, and help evolve our infrastructure strategy as the company grows.
OK, but what is a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) about?
Our Senior DevOps Engineer will be part of an international team that makes things happen across the entire Tech department. You will bring your passion for infrastructure, automation, and optimization to a fast-paced environment where quality, reliability, and efficiency matter.
You will be hands-on with our cloud environments, ensuring our systems are secure, cost-efficient, and performant. You'll work with teams that value simplicity, collaboration, and continuous improvement over unnecessary complexity.
Our core technologies include AWS, Terraform, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Docker, with services like RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS, Kibana, and OpenSearch.
More Specifically, Some Of The Key Tasks Are
Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform
Managing and improving CI/CD pipelines (currently Bitbucket Pipelines, moving to GitHub Actions)
Building and maintaining Docker-based deployment workflows (ECR, ECS, load balancers)
Monitoring and improving system reliability using tools like Kibana and OpenSearch
Managing messaging systems (RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS) and database infrastructure (PostgreSQL)
Applying cost-optimization strategies to reduce infrastructure spend without sacrificing performance
Ensuring security best practices and addressing findings from penetration tests
Writing and maintaining automation scripts (bash, JavaScript, or TypeScript) to streamline operations
Participating in on-call support when production incidents occur (rarely)
Requirements
Educational Background:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Language Proficiency
Proficient in English, both written and verbal
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure role

Passionate about automation, optimization, and continuous improvement
Objective-oriented with a focus on reliability, security, and cost-efficiency
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Technical Proficiency
Expert-level experience with

– No previous preparation required. We will share a piece of our current infrastructure (Terraform or Bitbucket Pipeline) and ask you to comment on it, identify possible issues, and suggest improvements - 60 mins
