Purpose

Develop and maintain scalable and secure APIs and microservices, integrating data and functionalities across systems and digital products.

Responsabilities

• Design and implement microservices and REST APIs using Java (Spring Boot).
• Develop integrations with ODS and SQL databases.
• Implement CI/CD with quality control (SonarQube) and deployments on Docker/Kubernetes.
• Apply best practices for testing, observability, and code security.

Required knowledge

• Java (Spring Boot) and TypeScript/Angular.
• SQL and basic knowledge of NoSQL.
• Git and integration pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Local contract & Hybrid work in Málaga (Spain): 2–3 days/week.

Nice to Have

• OAuth2/OIDC, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, advanced Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of finance, banking, and API security.

Experience: At least 2–4 years in data engineering or related roles (or equivalent experience in related environments)
