In this role, you’ll design and fine-tune LLMs for intelligent customer care, automated ticket analysis and resolution, knowledge retrieval from OSS/BSS and network documentation, as well as AI-driven service assurance and incident summarization.
Responsibilities
Develop and fine-tune LLMs for telecom-specific applications, including:
- Intelligent customer care and digital assistants.
- Automated ticket analysis and resolution.
- Knowledge retrieval from OSS/BSS and network documentation.
- AI-driven service assurance and incident summarization.
- Build and optimize scalable LLM pipelines for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-modal data integration (logs, text, telemetry), and secure inference.
- Integrate LLM-based reasoning and automation into existing OSS/BSS, NOC, and CRM workflows.
- Design APIs and frameworks to expose AI capabilities to network and business systems.
- Apply techniques for model alignment, context optimization, and safety (guardrails, red-team evaluation).
- Collaborate with data, network, and operations teams to deploy models on-prem or in hybrid cloud environments.
- Lead experimentation on domain adaptation using operator data while maintaining compliance and privacy.
- 5+ years in AI/ML engineering, including 2+ years working with LLMs or generative AI.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and LLM frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain, vLLM, or similar).
- Experience in telecom or network data pipelines, OSS/BSS integration, or network analytics.
- Knowledge of MLOps and scalable inference on GPU/accelerator clusters (Kubernetes, Ray, Triton, etc.).
- Understanding of telecom ontologies, service models, and data governance/compliance (GDPR, telco security).
- Excellent collaboration skills to bridge AI research with network engineering and product teams.
